Preparation for a Her Witness session begins before the camera ever comes out. We start with a video call where we take time to connect, talk about where you are in your life journey, and explore the feeling or story you want the session to hold.

During this conversation we’ll discuss wardrobe, environment, and the overall energy you want reflected in the images. I also pull oracle cards as part of my creative process, which often helps guide the location, elements, and atmosphere that will support the session.

Together we shape the overall arc of the experience so the imagery reflects not just how you look, but the deeper story of who you are in this moment.

The intention is for the session to feel natural, collaborative, and aligned long before we begin photographing.

Yes. Photographing retreats and traveling for this work is a meaningful part of Her Witness Creative. I regularly travel both within the United States and internationally to document retreats, gatherings, and experiences where women are coming together for growth, connection, and transformation.
